WHY KITTEN RESCUE'S POLICY IS TO ADOPT TO INDOOR ONLY HOMES
Meet Arnie, isn't he cute?
Arnie was adopted in 2011 and was supposed to be an indoor cat and if he were to go outside it was to be supervised only. Evidently his owner disregarded our policy when she adopted him. He was hit by a car and his leg badly mangled. His owner did not want to pay for the surgery and told the vet to put him down. The vet noticed that Arnie was a Kitten Rescue cat from is identifying tattoo in his ear and called us. He did not want to put down a healthy young cat, just because the owner did not want to pay for his surgery. He contacted us and said he would donate his services to amputate the leg, if we would take on the post operative care.
This is just one of many stories of what can happen to unsupervised cats. There are also many other dangers that unsupervised cats are exposed to such as predators, poisons, people who dislike cats to name a few.

As a community service we are
providing a place for people who have lost their
cats and people who have found cats, in hopes of
reuniting the cats with their families. The
information contained on this page is not a part of
Kitten Rescue and the lost and found is between the
cat owner and the person who found the cat.
