Kitten Rescue Cat Release and Surrender Forms


Kitten Rescue is a non profit 502(c)(3) organization. We rescue stray cats and kittens from the Mason County area. Intake is based on space availability and our resources available to care for them. Since we are a small facility and have limited volunteers, filling out a form below is not a guarantee of us taking your animal.

Before filling out a form, we ask that you please do the following to insure the cat does not belong to someone already.  

1) Have it scanned for a Microchip (free at your local Vet)

2) Post a picture and information of the cat In your neighborhood and on Facebook - Mason County Lost Pets  and

Please review the following statements so you are fully aware of our policies prior to surrendering a cat or kitten. 

Kitten Rescue will not be able to take your animal if you are not willing to relinquish custody under these terms.

1. You are giving up all legal rights to this animal.

2. All items brought in with the animal are considered a donation.

At this time, your wait time for surrendering an animal is 4 to 6 weeks. If you are in immediate need, please reach out to other shelters or rescues.
