Kitten Rescue is a team.
From those who socialize the cats and kittens to those who nurse the sick, work in the shelter, work the garage sales, make the donations, give their skills and pay the bills--our volunteers share a goal. Pooling our efforts has brought successes that could not have happened if we had each worked on our own. Our common purpose has created a highly effective organization that has saved thousands of lives.
About Us
At Kitten Rescue, we are passionate about finding loving homes for cats and kittens. We are committed to reducing the stray cat population through our spay neuter program and creating a better future for all feline friends.
Founded in 1999, there were no options for abandoned cats and kittens in Mason County. We are still the only physical shelter in Mason County solely for cats and kittens. Today We have a small cottage and 6 small outbuildings for our cats/kittens (two of which were built in 2021.) We also have a travel trailer with a fenced yard for our long-term kitties, since we are a no-kill shelter. We have also grown our foster network to help in raising and socializing kittens making them excellent candidates for adoption.
We are registered 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all your donations are tax-deductible under IRS regulations. Our tax ID is 91-2101565.
We also have help for the community in low-income assistance with spay/neuter and free feral fix and release programs.
