Our Foster Care Program helps us save more cats and kittens than our shelter space allows. By opening your home to a foster, you provide a safe, loving environment for an animal who may be at risk of entering the shelter, needs extra time to thrive, or requires specialized care. Your home can make all the difference in giving them the second chance they deserve.

What does a foster caregiver provide?

• TLC

• A spare room to keep fosters separate from resident pets

• Enough time to spend with the fosters each day to ensure they become friendly

• Some cat knowledge to ensure you can recognize if the cats or kittens become ill

• Transportation to and from the shelter for immunizations and other medical care or appointments

• Consistent communication with foster coordinator
