Garage Sale Parking
Our new parking lot was well received for the September 13th sale. Of course New means Change. Please be courteous with everyone as we establish the best practices for using this lot.
This all is new for everyone. Thank you to all that used patience and kindness towards our volunteers and each other as you used our new parking facility.
There is a ramp coming from the new parking lot into the sale. You will pass the cashiers and the holding area on the way in. You might even get to see a kitty out in their patio area of their trailer!
We have disabled parking near the new entrance from the parking lot to the sale. These will be for placarded vehicles only.
Our parking lot was created behind the rescue shelter and garage sale area. This means you will pull into the shelter parking lot and follow along the fence line behind the shelter. There will be signs to follow and volunteers to direct parking initially to utilize the lot efficiently. Selecting your treasures is where you can exercise your individuality. We understand that we all have our own way of doing things and parking is no different; however, we ask that you park as our volunteer attendants direct. Drivers refusing to park as instructed will be asked to leave.
Please do not park in a way to block someone else in or prevent them from opening their doors. The parking surface is gravel so we are unable to paint lines. We are trusting that people with park with respect for their fellow shoppers.
We are going to open the property gates at 7:30 to head up to the new parking lot and park your cars. We suggest that you remain in your vehicles until a bit before 8am so we can get people safely parked while limiting the interaction of pedestrians and vehicles. We will have a volunteer at the parking lot’s ramp entrance to the garage sale area welcoming you in at 8am sharp.
The two checkouts and new holding area have moved near the new entrance to the sale from the parking lot.
